LES customers asked to provide feedback on LES’ direction

LINCOLN — Lincoln Electric System is calling on its customers to take a brief online survey to help inform the utility’s strategic planning process.

LES began developing its strategic plan late last year to establish a dynamic direction for the utility. The strategic plan will provide a clear and organized vision of directives, initiatives and projects for LES to
prioritize in order to meet the energy future while continuing to serve its community.

“LES has not undergone a strategic planning process as robust as this in its recent history,” said Emeka Anyanwu, LES CEO. “Our customers own our utility, and we exist to provide value as an asset to them. This survey is our prime opportunity to hear what’s important to them. Informed by their input, we’ll create
a strategic plan truly reflecting what matters most to our customer-owners.”

Customers can access the survey at LES.com/Survey. It takes approximately five minutes to complete, can be anonymous and is open for public participation through April 30.

LES’ strategic plan comes at a time when the electric utility industry is facing many changes, including an evolving energy market, an uncertain regulatory and policy environment, cost increases, more frequent extreme weather events and changing customer needs. LES has partnered with PA Consulting to conduct the strategic planning process and HDR to facilitate the customer survey.

“To meet the opportunities and uncertainties of today and the future, we must balance innovation with LES’ proud history of best serving our community. The end result of this strategic planning process will enable us to continue and build on that legacy,” added Anyanwu.
